Serving sentimental mothers who value emotional photos, videos and tangible prints to hold on to and pass down to future generations. If you only want a couple of perfectly posed photos with everyone smiling and looking at the camera, I am probably not the family photographer for you. While I will make sure to get some of those "Christmas card" photos, my goal is to not only document your children and their little personalities, but also your unique and special relationship with them, so that you can remember and cherish this season of life.
There is something so magical about childhood and the finite years you have with your children in the home. To me, it looks like a vivid dream. It truly is magical. I’m here to help you remember it and preserve it.

Outdoor and in-home Colorado Springs photographer
I feel so lucky to live in Colorado Springs because it is such a beautiful place. We have the most gorgeous scenery with mountains and nature to get the family photographs you have been dreaming of. Even with these gorgeous outdoor locations available to us, sometimes taking photos in the comfort of your own home can be even more meaningful. In-home family photos are a great option during certain times of the year in Colorado Springs, but can also be great if you have a newborn or young children that have a difficult time staying up late enough for golden hour. They are also a great option if you are just looking for a more casual feel.
If you are having trouble deciding on an outdoor or in-home session for your family photos, I am happy to share some of the pros and cons of each to help you to make a decision.

If you are interested in working with me as your photographer in Colorado Springs, please fill out my contact form with details about your family and what type of session you are looking for. I will get back to you with available dates, answer any questions and figure out any additional details we need. When you are ready to book, you sign the contract and pay the non-refundable retainer to secure your date.

Once scheduled, we start the planning process. I love to collaborate with my clients. I will send a guide on what to wear for outdoor and in-home photos. Clients are welcome to send me pictures along the way as they plan outfits. You will also receive a location guide with photo samples of some of my favorite places for photos in Colorado Springs. We can work together to find a location that works best with your preferences and the age of your children, etc. As always, I am available to help answer any questions along the way.
the day of

This is the exciting part! My lifestyle photography sessions take place either outdoors or in your own home. For outdoor photos, we will usually meet about 1.5 hours before sunset for the best light. If we are taking photos in your home, we will pick a time that works best for you and your family. Now it is time to sit back, relax and enjoy this time together. I will guide you throughout the session, so there is no need to stress! The remaining balance will be due the day of your session.
after the session

Within 4 weeks, you will receive your online gallery from me. It is time to view your photos and hopefully cry with tears of joy. You are welcome to download all of the photos you want directly to your computer and print as you would like. Your session will also include a print credit for professional prints from my shop that expires after one month. Don’t forget to take advantage of these high quality prints that won’t get lost on your hard drive and can be passed down for future generations! FYI albums are my favorite!!
